The safety of your patients is priority one. A-1 Concrete Leveling can help hospitals and nursing homes create safe environments with cost-effective solutions.

Caring for people is your number one priority. Don't let uneven concrete cause issues with your patients, staff, and visiting guests. A-1 is able to level concrete oftentimes with minimal or even no downtime.

Perhaps in no other area is the safety of your people more top of mind than at hospitals and nursing homes. This is why it's important to address safety concerns immediately, and with as little inconvenience as possible. A-1 can often level concrete in as little as a few hours. And, that concrete is usable immediately. All of this while not causing undue strain on your budget.

Causes of Settling Concrete at Hospitals and Nursing Homes

Inside concrete slabs can settle due to a number of reasons, but one is often poorly compacted substrate. Builders do what they can to prepare the surface for the concrete but, sometimes there are hidden issues that they are not aware of, like buried organic matter (trees and stumps) that can degrade over time and cause voids.

Water issues can also cause concrete to sink. Either too much water, which can wash out the base under the slab, or even drought, which can cause soils to shrink, leaving voids underneath. A-1 Concrete Leveling will always evaluate the root cause of your concrete settling issues and offer advice on how to avoid problems in the future.

Solutions for Concrete Issues at Hospitals and Nursing Homes

Hospitals and nursing homes are often prime candidates for our injection foam leveling services. This process can be cleaner than our grout leveling and can be completed with very little inconvenience to your operations. With the right planning and processes, A-1 can complete your projects in just a few hours and get you up and running right away. We have performed leveling jobs in surgery rooms in one day. This included moving equipment out, lifting the concrete, putting the equipment back in place, and sterilization of the room. In another case, A-1 lifted a section of a lobby, while the hospital was open. Our technicians simply roped off the area we were working on. And when completed, we cleaned up. Aside from the now level concrete, it was as if we were never there.

Concrete Leveling & Repair Costs

Although injection foam concrete leveling can be more expensive, in most cases it is still far more cost-effective than pouring new concrete. Especially when you consider the expense of having to shut down the area to be leveled for weeks at a time. This could mean the loss of usable workspace or even beds for patients. When it comes to leveling floors in hospitals and nursing homes, there really is no better, or budget-friendly solution than concrete leveling.
