Concrete Sidewalk Leveling
Sidewalk leveling is our bread and butter. But just because we do thousands of these every year, don't think it's simple. Our experience and our patented equipment allows our technicians to raise your concrete sidewalk slabs just right. If you want the best results, contact A-1 today.
This is a prefect example of a sidewalk issue we see all the time. This is right where the sidewalk meets the driveway. Oftentimes the drive, being bigger slabs, won't have moved, but the sidewalk has.
Notice how we were actually able to raise the concrete slab without disturbing the surrounding landscaping. This is a definite benefit over tearing out and replacing the concrete.
Concrete Driveway Leveling and Repair
The second most common area we level are driveways, and one of the issues we most often see is driveways sinking at the apron where they meet the garage. This is often due to poor backfill around the garage footer when it was built.
The concrete driveway apron is down pretty much the same all the way across. This is a perfect example of a situation where the ground fill around the garage foundation wasn't filled and compacted correctly.
A-1 was able to bring the driveway back up to level across the entire length of the garage. We also used a flexible caulk to fill in the joints between the drive and garage to keep water from getting under the slab and causing more damage down the road.
Concrete Steps Leveling and Repair
Concrete steps, even ones with brick overlays, can also be raised using our process. It takes an expert with knowleged honed over years to do it right, but A-1 has done thousands of them.
This is an example of a front step that we see on a weekly basis at least once. The step either falls to one side, or is down all the way across. With our patented equipment, we can lift it back into place.

Concrete Patio Leveling and Repair
Concrete patios can cause water issues in your basement if they sink toward your foundation. A-1 can lift the patio and tilt it away from your house eliminating pooling water.
This patio had dropped several inches against the foundation, allowing water to run toward the house and causing water to leak into the basement.
A-1 was able to evenly lift the patio away from the house, pushing water away from the foundation.
